ArtSmart students and mentors are still connecting and creating despite the pandemic. Listen to their voices.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ArtSmart mentors and students have not stopped singing and creating. Under the challenging circumstances, mentors have continued to meet virtually with students, knowing how crucial it is on mental health and academic success to have that one-to-one music mentorship.
Despite the challenges, we continued to make music and learn. We stayed connected and supported each other. We found solace in music and got creative, even writing our own music and using music videos to make a difference.
