ArtSmart Welcomes Lilian Tsai to Board

Dear ArtSmart Community,

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our Board of Directors, Lilian C. Tsai. Lilian brings a wealth of experience and a profound passion for the arts, making her an invaluable asset to our organization.

As an in-house corporate attorney at Oracle, Lilian excels in negotiating commercial deals and advising global business units. Her academic background, with degrees in communications and political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a JD from American University’s Washington College of Law, further solidifies her expertise in both law and strategic communication.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lilian has a deep-rooted love for the arts, inspired by her early experiences with classical music and opera, thanks to her aunt and uncle’s long-standing support of the San Francisco Opera. This passion has driven her to dedicate her time and skills to various arts organizations, including serving as board secretary for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Historical Society and the Hawaii Chamber Music Festival, as a board member for ODC Dance, and as a councilor for the San Francisco Opera’s BRAVO! Council. Additionally, her commitment to social impact is evident in her role as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for foster youth.

We are confident that Lilian’s unique blend of legal acumen, strategic insight, and deep commitment to the arts will greatly contribute to ArtSmart’s mission. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Lilian C. Tsai as she embarks on this exciting journey with us.
